As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we're promptly adapting our actions with the health and wellbeing of our residents and associates as our top priority. While acknowledging that there are many different models to follow when relaxing safety measures in our facilities, we’re choosing to take a very conservative stance.
Currently, we’re following a nationally recognized three-phase reopening guideline. Under this guideline, senior care communities will be among the last public places to reopen nationally.
We’re also closely monitoring Jordan and Northfield’s regional COVID statistics closely as they start to relax COVID-19 restrictions, and we're encouraging our associates to continue avoiding places in the community that could expose them to the virus.
In order to ensure the safety of our community, we have implemented a 2-week quarantine for all new residents. We are committed to ensuring these residents remain socially, mentally and physically active during this time.
As the world continues to adapt to the reality of the COVID-19, please be assured that we will keep prioritizing the care of our residents in all the decisions we make. Our number one goal and our guiding principle is to maximize the health and safety of our residents.
